1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no connection to a court, sheriff, or state agency. It does not store official records, conduct an official background check, or submit documents for a user.

Its purpose is to identify the systems that hold Missaukee County records, including Sheriff Records, the local criminal courts, the Michigan State Police Criminal Justice Information Center, and the Michigan Public Sex Offender Registry. Some pages also connect to independent search services.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Use is conditioned on these restrictions. A user must not:

• Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
• Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
• Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
• Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
• Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information obtained here or through a linked tool may not be used to stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or unlawfully discriminate against anyone. The restriction is especially important for Michigan Public Sex Offender Registry data. Michigan's Sex Offenders Registration Act, 1994 PA 295, authorizes public-safety access but does not permit threats, vigilantism, or other crimes against a listed person.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

This website is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and does not create a credit report, background report, or other consumer report. Its operators and advertising partners do not provide a service designed for FCRA-regulated evaluation. Data from these pages or linked tools must not be used to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

A legally permissible regulated check must be obtained from an authorized official process or a consumer reporting agency that complies with the FCRA.

5. No Legal Advice

General descriptions of Missaukee County record access are not legal advice. Only a licensed Michigan lawyer can advise how a charge, warrant, conviction, or set-aside law applies to specific facts.

6. No Warranties

All content and services are supplied "as is." No guarantee is made that:

• The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
• The site will stay up and running without interruptions
• Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
• Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Charges, dispositions, access rules, and set-aside status can change. Delays and omissions are possible, so no statement here should be treated as an official response from a Missaukee County or Michigan agency.

10. Indemnification

A user agrees to indemnify and hold the operator harmless from claims, demands, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from that user's misuse of the website or breach of these terms.

11. Governing Law

Michigan law governs these terms, including applicable principles of the Michigan Consumer Protection Act, MCL 445.901 et seq. Any dispute must be brought in a Michigan court with proper jurisdiction. Michigan FOIA, MCL 15.231 et seq., governs public bodies rather than this private operator, and MCL 28.241a defines state criminal-history record information.

12. Changes to These Terms

The terms may be revised from time to time. A new version takes effect when posted on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be limited or terminated without advance notice when the operator determines that action is appropriate.

14. Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay effective. The affected language will be limited only as much as necessary.
